  • ER1 Equity Release

    This examination assesses a knowledge and understanding of the different types of equity release products, risks to the consumer associated with equity release and application of suitable equity release solutions according to the circumstances of different customers.

  • J05 Pension Income Options

When our doors are open

With more than 25 years of experience in financial services, Lee has held a variety of roles that have shaped both his outlook and approach to advice. While proud to have achieved Chartered status and to be recognised as a subject matter expert by the CISI, his greatest sense of achievement comes from helping clients reach their goals and live the life they want with financial confidence.

Lee enjoys working with a wide range of people – whether they’re just getting started, managing the complexities of business ownership, or playing professional sport. What matters most to him is creating lasting relationships based on trust and understanding, helping clients make well-informed decisions that genuinely improve their lives.

After we lock up

Lee was born and raised in Birmingham and now lives in Sutton Coldfield with his wife, Sarah, and their two children, Riley and Marcee.

Most of his evenings and weekends are spent coaching Riley’s junior football team or ferrying Marcee to gymnastics.

When he manages a bit of spare time, he tries to sneak in a round of golf – though how relaxing that is depends on how he’s playing and who he is playing with – due to the occasional questionable driving from my brother in law.

Lee in the spotlight

The three qualities that draw me to new people are:

  • Authenticity – I’m naturally drawn to people who are genuine, open, and happy being themselves.
  • A good sense of humour – Life’s serious enough. I like those who can share a laugh – even at my expense.
  • Integrity – doing the right thing matters more than short-term gain. I’ve carried that belief into every decision – in life and in business.

The three people at my dream dinner party would be:

  • Paul Gascoigne – Entertaining off the pitch as well as on it. He’d bring the stories, the jokes, and the kind of memories you’d still be laughing about years later.
  • Ricky Gervais – Brutally honest, hilarious, and guaranteed to keep things entertaining – probably at someone’s expense (possibly mine).
  • Barack Obama – Thoughtful, cool, and effortlessly engaging. The kind of guest who’d have you hanging on every word – and still make time to ask how your week’s been.

Three things I haven’t done so far are:

  • Learned to sit still – I have to keep active all the time!
  • Watched Aston Villa win the Premier League.
  • Retired – I’m working on helping others do it.
